LCD walls use multiple commercial TV panels tiled together — they are more affordable, deliver excellent 4K quality, but have thin bezel lines (1.7mm to 3.5mm) between panels. Direct-view LED walls are made of seamless LED tiles — no bezels at all, brighter, and viewable from extreme angles, but cost 2–4x more per square foot. LCD is great for budget-conscious retail and offices; LED is the choice for executive lobbies and premium retail.
Pixel pitch is the distance between LED pixels, measured in millimeters. The smaller the number, the higher the resolution — and the closer you can stand without seeing pixels. Quick rule: minimum viewing distance in feet ≈ pitch in mm. So a 2mm pitch wall looks sharp from 6 feet away, a 4mm pitch is fine from 12 feet. For lobbies and retail, 1.5mm–2.5mm is the sweet spot. For outdoor stadium signage, 6mm–10mm works fine.
Yes — that is what video walls do best. With a video wall processor, you can show 1, 4, 9, 16, or any number of sources simultaneously. Common layouts: full-wall single image, 2×2 grid of sources, picture-in-picture, ticker overlays, and custom zones. Layouts can change automatically on a schedule or be triggered manually.
A 2×2 LCD wall with four 55" panels installed runs $12,000 to $18,000. A 3×3 LCD wall with content management and multi-source switching is $30,000 to $50,000. Direct-view LED walls start around $1,500 per square foot for 2.5mm pitch and go up to $3,500+/sq ft for premium 1.2mm pitch. Outdoor LED walls run $2,000 to $5,000 per square foot. Retail entrances, restaurant interiors, corporate lobbies, conference rooms, control rooms, broadcast studios, houses of worship, sports bars, and trade show booths are the most common. Anywhere you want to make a visual impact, deliver dynamic content, or display lots of information at once.
Yes. Outdoor LED walls are IP-rated for weather, daylight-readable (5,000 nits or higher), and built for direct sun. They work for drive-thru menu boards, gas station canopies, building facades, and event spaces. Outdoor installations require additional engineering for wind load, lightning protection, and cooling.
Modern video walls run on cloud-based content management systems like BrightSign, Carousel, or Samsung MagicInfo. You schedule playlists, swap content remotely, push emergency alerts, and manage multiple locations from a single dashboard. We set up the system, train your team, and offer ongoing content design as needed.
Commercial-grade panels are rated for 24/7 operation. We use only commercial Samsung and LG panels for LCD walls, and tier-1 LED suppliers like Absen, Unilumin, and Daktronics for LED. Walls include redundant power supplies, hot-swappable modules, and remote monitoring so issues are caught before they affect your operation.
A 2×2 LCD wall is a one-day install. A 3×3 LCD wall with content management runs 2–3 days. Direct-view LED walls take 1–2 weeks depending on size and complexity (structural mounts, controllers, calibration). Outdoor LED walls require longer scheduling for permits and structural engineering.
Yes. We design the mounting structure, coordinate any required electrical upgrades, handle low-voltage and signal cabling, and provide stamped engineering drawings when required by code. For large installations we partner with licensed electricians and structural engineers as part of the project.
